About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our Global Proposals Team and serve as a key contributor to support the development of proposals and business development materials. The ideal candidate will have a blend of excellent business writing and project management skills, comfort in cloud security, and the ability to understand the complexity of our market and customer needs.

This is a remote opportunity open to qualified candidates in any major metro in the USA.
 

What You’ll Do:

Manage overall RFI, RFQ, RFP, and other questionnaire activities – from initial receipt to final submission – to ensure an on-time submissionProactively manage a workload that includes responsibility for multiple proposal assignments and other tasks, as required, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentTake responsibility for driving the proposal process and ensuring critical milestones and all deadlines are met, as well as coordinating reviews with key stakeholders providing final quality assurance and adherence to department, corporate and legal complianceReview and analyze customer requirements, create outline of tasks and schedule of eventsParticipate in team alignment calls and strategy discussions to clarify scope of work, gain insights into the business opportunity, understand key messages/differentiators and develop win themesCoordinate the contributions of the contributing team members (i.e., sales, solution engineers, product, strategy, IT Security and other SMEs, as needed) to develop high quality, compliant responses that put CrowdStrike in the best position to winCreate the customer response template and manage project workflow through the RFP process (i.e., draft, review, approval)Prepare final document for submission; format, proofread and edit for accuracy, clarity and readabilityTrain Sales and other cross-functional organizations on proposal best practices, policies, and proceduresAssist in management of our proposal content library to include the most timely, consistent, and currently relevant market, product, and company information

What You'll Need:

5+ years’ experience managing complex proposals in a fast-paced SaaS technology strongly preferredProven critical thinking and effective decision-making abilitiesSuperior project and time management skills, able to effectively coordinate various levels of SMEs effectively to deliver complicated responses on-time – able to work successfully under time sensitive deadlines and in stressful environmentsAbility to manage multiple complex projects with overlapping or competing timeframesExcellent communicator, both written and oralExpert knowledge in MS Office, Salesforce and proposal software such as RFPIOStrict attention to detail and accuracy; expert formatting, editing and proofreading skillsTeam player, able to work both collaboratively and independentlyThe ability to comprehend, communicate, and cohesively orchestrate complex business, technical and legal requirements, information and materialsExcellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to build rapport and relationships, and the ability to collaborate with a broad and diverse population of internal and external team membersThe proposal team supports a global organization; the candidate’s ability and willingness to work across time zones and geographies, as needed to meet the client’s proposal deadline

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $80,000 - $135,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
