Protection and Resilience Specialist
The Protection and Resilience Specialist will be part of the P&R team, supporting Allianz Entities with implementation of P&R standards and guidelines, assist in monitoring and reporting P&R performance, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in information security and business continuity. This role also involves liaising with Allianz Technology and global P&R functions to drive continuous improvement within Allianz entities.
Protection and Resilience
Support the implementation of the P&R standard, functional rules, and related guidelines at an OE level. Actively participate in the Governance & Control Committee and Risk Committee. Keep Senior Management informed about developments and required actions to meet P&R requirements. Assist in aligning and monitoring developments around the P&R framework, including new requirements and controls, with regional and OE expert functions. Help ensure that self-assessments/reviews are carried out within the Operating Entity and assist in sharing and communicating results with the Senior Management. Coordinate and monitor action plans, ensuring that the P&R monitoring and reporting system is effectively implemented. Support best practice sharing, standardization, and collaboration across Allianz Asia Pacific. Act as a point of contact for Allianz Technology, given their role in IT systems and infrastructure provision for Allianz Asia Pacific. Participate in the Governance and Control Committee. Support as a liaison to the Global P&R function, ensuring effective and clear communication on P&R matters across the region.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in cyber security within the Protection & Resilience domains in the Financial/Insurance industry. Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in the Financial/Insurance sector related to information security and business continuity. Experience in assessing and mitigating risks related to information security and business continuity. Experience in monitoring and reporting on P&R performance, assisting in the implementation of action plans based on risk assessments. Strong analytical skills with a willingness to learn and assist in identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies. Ability to work collaboratively with teams such as IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders. Good communication skills for liaising with different functions within the organization.
