Opportunity Overview:

We are recruiting for a Prototype Assembler within our New Product Introduction Group (NPI-Pilot Line team) to join our team in San Jose, CA.  In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and repairing memory test equipment, fixtures and testers. 

The ideal candidate will have strong interest in building prototype fixtures and ability to be on site in our San Jose, CA office 5x week.

2+ years’ experience in Mechanical Assembly (Box build). Experience with building prototype fixtures with large sheet metal. Experience with small hand tools/Power Tools. (screwdrivers, etc.) This job requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead. Ability to understand and verify the Assembly Instruction/ Test Procedure / Drawing /BOM and provide feedback to Engineer. The ability to read Assembly Drawing, basic schematics and wire diagrams is a plus. Experience with a Digital Voltmeter Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and written). Be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to work overtime.

 

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $47,600 - $76,100. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.  

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
