Primary Responsibilities:
1. Prototype Assembly
Fulfil the prototyping assembly activity according to the R&D project planning.
2. To carry out the mechanical/dielectric tests as per the operation instructions given by the R&D PM, taking care of the safety of the people as for the equipment, ensure the completion of tests on time and in line with EHS rules.
3. To fill in the report of the results for the tests and compare with the criteria.
Decision of the apparatus acceptance or not is common within the R&D project team.
Write NC in-case of measurement out of criterion and to advise R&D PM for corrective actions.
To follow the evolutions of the test results and to give a technical opinion.
4. Problem solving
To be the first contact person for the operators in case of problem during assembly
Do first analysis of the problem and if possible, provide solution.
Report problem to management.
5. Delivery
Respect the R&D project planning.
State the existing problem to the hierarchy and R&D PM.
Ensure that the problem will be solved by pushing responsible department.
Ensure that the working documents delivered by design and R&D PM are prepared on time.
6. Material management
Manage all R&D parts of prototype for research/type tests after quality inspection.
7. EHS: Respect EHS policy and instruction of company
Qualifications Required:
Educational Requirements
Mechanical engineering or technic
Experience
>8 year of experience in technical position in T&D field
> 5 years experience in prototyping testing in MV/HV switchgear
