AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. GCR Prototyping team is looking for a technical enthusiast and builder who is passionate about technology, understands cloud architectures & platforms and quick to pick up emerging technologies. You will be working with Customers to experiment with innovative approaches and validate the technical feasibility of solutions.

Core to Amazon’s innovation DNA is its methodology around executing experiments and prototypes to find the quickest and cheapest way to prove new ideas, technologies and business models in a real-world environment. As trusted customer advocates, the Rapid Prototyping team helps customers in creating the early iterations of products, often exploring new technical grounds.

Key job responsibilities
You will partner with customers and other AWS teams to craft prototypes that address customer use cases and accelerate the adoption of AWS. So, if you are someone who innovates, likes solving hard problems and working on cutting edge technology, we would love to have you on the team! You will help shape and build prototypes covering a spread of domains such as Generative AI, AI/ML, IoT, Big Data and Modern Application. The ability to learn new technology and develop solutions that meet a high-quality bar and convey business value is critical to the role.


About the team
AWS Global Rapid Prototyping is a technical program to accelerate customer adoption of AWS services. This program responds directly to customer needs in all regions across the world, especially in emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence/machine learning, or big data analytics. The Rapid Prototyping program builds usable technology prototypes for customers based on the AWS platform and services by using their existing data, devices, and/or systems for their specific usage scenarios. GCR Prototyping team is one of the teams across the globe.
