Narrative: Contracting Specialist – The Eddy/St. Peter’s Health Partners – Troy, NY The Eddy’s Continuing Care Network (including hospice, PACE, home health, infusion pharmacy, DME, nursing homes and senior living) have a challenging opportunity for a Contracting Specialist.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
Maintains database of active contracts with vendors, physicians, and payers and coordinates renewals.Negotiates terms of new agreements with vendors (this position is not responsible for negotiations with health plans/payers but does serve as a resource for service level questions from our health system payer contracting team).Coordinates with legal counsel and risk management teams to review terms and insurance requirements as needed.Coordinates with program directors to ensure regulatory compliance of contract terms.Works with Executive Vice President to update Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment data.Ideal position for an individual who enjoys working independently, is detail-oriented/focused, highly organized, and has strong communication skills.Work schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate from a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Three to five years of professional administrative, financial, paralegal, or related experience required.All new employees are required to undergo and pass all applicable state and federally mandated pre-employment screening requirements.
Pay range: $31.01-$49.61
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
