Purpose

The Provider Relations Network Manager focuses on building, strengthening, and maintaining relationships with community providers to create a robust referral network. This role ensures seamless collaboration with external partners to enhance referral pathways, improve patient access, and support the organization’s strategic growth objectives. Reporting to the PRMO Director, the Network Manager plays a key role in fostering provider engagement, ensuring satisfaction, and aligning referral operations with long-term organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Provider Relationship Development: Establish and nurture relationships with community providers to strengthen the referral network and build long-term partnerships. Serve as the primary point of contact for external providers, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering trust and satisfaction. Proactively engage with providers to identify referral opportunities and align their needs with the organization’s services.

Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with the PRMO Director and Outreach Coordinators to integrate provider feedback into referral processes and outreach strategies. Partner with the Referral Coordination and Navigation (RCN) Office to streamline referral workflows and ensure seamless transitions for patients. Support external providers with tools, resources, and clear communication to enhance their referral experience.

Strategic Growth Support: Align network development efforts with physician recruitment, retention, and service line expansion goals to support organizational growth. Strengthen referral pathways and community partnerships to create a scalable network that aligns with future milestones. Represent the organization in the community to reinforce its position as a preferred referral destination and trusted partner.

Data and Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as referral volumes, provider satisfaction, and engagement metrics to track and improve performance. Provide regular updates to the PRMO Director, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities for network improvement. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize external provider engagement strategies.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 3+ years of experience in provider relations, healthcare operations, or network management. Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external providers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience working in collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to achieve organizational goals.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with referral management systems and healthcare analytics tools. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to referrals. Experience supporting physician growth strategies and service line expansions.

Salary Range

$85,000+ depending on qualifications
