Provider Relations Representative - Greater Lynchburg, Roanoke Valley Area
Responsible for enhancing the lines of communication between referring physicians and the UVA specialists. This includes developing managing and supporting relationships coordinating and disseminating information about the UVA Health System acting as a key resource for internal and external physicians as well as identifying new business opportunities with referring physicians.  Also responsible for establishing a high level of customer service by facilitating referrals providing information on new clinical programs and services clinical trials and the introduction of new faculty.

Responsible for enhancing the lines of communication between referring physicians and the UVA specialists.Assist with the planning and implementation of the hospital’s ongoing referring physician service program by working with UVA staff to help create action plans for problem issues.                                                   Coordinates and facilitates the marketing and implementation of the physician service program.  

In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $70,595.20 - $112,944.00 Annual

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience: 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity or in a client relations position in a healthcare organization.
Licensure: Virginia Driver's License (VADL).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


The job is primarily a geographical field based position that requires 70-80% local/regional travel weekly.  The job does require some travel outside of the assigned geographical territory to attend meetings and programs. This job requires extensive use of computers and related technology.
