PROVIDER SERVICES COORDINATOR\n

What We're Looking For:\n
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the Provider Services Coordinator position. The Provider Services Coordinator assists the Provider Services Manager with achieving overall program goals. The Provider Services Coordinator is primarily responsible for policy and procedure training and quality assurance to ensure contract compliance with payment rules and regulations of the California Department of Education and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services child care subsidy contracts.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nWork in conjunction with Crystal Stairs' Quality Assurance department to analyze results of quality reviews; work directly with Claims and Agreements Unit supervisors to achieve higher compliance ratings on internal and external audits, develop process improvements and\/or training plans to increase\/improve compliance.\nCollect, document and publish monthly QA performance statistics for Provider Services.\nDevelop and\/or coordinate staff, parent and provider trainings.\nPrepare written training materials (based upon policies and process protocols) for presentation to staff, parents and providers.\nPlan , implement and monitor strategies to increase and sustain program quality, including, but not limited to the development of process reductions\/streamlining and process improvements in the Agreements Unit.\nProvide ongoing support to Provider Services staff identifying and addressing CareControl 3.0 functionality concerns as they relate to the department's business needs.\nFacilitate inter-departmental communication regarding general work processes and process improvements.\nMaintain\/update pertinent documents related to program compliance:\n\n\nBusiness Rules\/Policies and Procedures - Claims and Agreements\nWorks Instructions - Claims and Agreements\nManagement Bulletins\nAdministrative Directives\n\n\nMaintain\/update and distribute program written materials to external clients, providers and parents.\nResearch, document and respond to payment related findings from scheduled Stage One monitoring reviews.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\n

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:\n\nCollege degree with a focus on Accounting, Business, or Human\/Social Services preferred. Relevant, verifiable work experience may be substituted for college level education.\nMinimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience managing a staff of at least 4-8 people required.\nRequires knowledge and understanding of the Child Care Assistance Program, the CalWORKs Child Care Subsidy Program and the Child Care Food Program regulations.\nExcellent analytical ability and process development skills. Must have strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.\nRequires excellent customer relations skills, with the ability to work with diverse individuals and groups, including all organizational levels.\nRequires strong analyzing skills, including budget analysis, claims analysis, payment analysis and identification of fraudulent activities.\nMust be able to work well under pressure and multi-task priorities to meet tight deadlines.\nMust provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination\n\n
