Key Responsibilities:

Program Management and Evaluation

Coordinate and consult with National Project Coordinator (PC/PM) to ensure smooth running of CNSP project activities at the project site.Organize partners meetings with DfCDR and provincial level and with District level Community development Office and Local Level Government for project activities awareness and implementation.Provide expertise where intervention, planning and implementation is required through training and workshops.Coordinate & mobilize the resources and requirements of the project activities

Quality Assurance

Monitor and document project implementation and make recommendations as appropriate to M & E officer and national project team at national Office.Design standard/protocols for training interventionsDevelop training materials to suite the need, local context and language.Assess and provide support to the Department of Community Development (DFCDR)and Religion and local leaders through regular on-site supervisory and advisory visits to enhance partners and community’s competence

 Representation & Networking

Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners (DFCDR), Provincial Health Authorities, Provincial Government LLGs, local organizations and community groupsPromote open discussions with community leaders to share results of CNSP and evaluate.

Documentation

Provide monthly monitoring/ statistical reports on-timeComply to reporting datelines; provide monthly progress reports, assist in compilation of quarterly, biannual, annual and end of project report

 Safe Guiding and Child protection

Working in collaboration with key leads, lead and manage the overall implementation of safeguarding and protection activities in World Vision PNG, ensuring that activities/services are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with donor regulationsEnsuring that all WVPNG employees and affiliates know their responsibilities in promoting the safety and well-being of all children, adults, clients, and beneficiaries in WVPNG Operational areas.Promote and roll out the Child and Adult Safeguarding Policy to all staff and affiliates, including the obligation for all WV staff to immediately report known or suspected child or adult beneficiary safeguarding violations within 24 hours for a Level 2 or Level 3 incidenGuide development of safeguarding incident preparedness plans (SIPPs), including referral plans for child and adult victims of sexual and other abuse, and plans to report incidents to local police and other duty bearers or regulators. Complete the annual safeguarding self-assessment (i.e. Safeguarding Update Report) by leading a working group to generate responses and updating leadership on a regular basis

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Minimum of Bachelor's degree or college qualification social work, business economics, agriculture, health or public/population health.Certificate in community development and Project Management backgroundAt least 5 years of experience in coordinating grants management, engaging various stakeholders/partners.Experience in partners engagement and networkingExperience in working with Provincial and District Government OfficesExperience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writingExperience in Community mobilization and leadership roleExperience in Project managementExperience in community development as a backgroundAbility to commit and punctual to schedule activitiesGood networking and partnership development skillsSound knowledge in PNG Government systems and programsComputer literateCommunication, advocacy & facilitation skills
