Job purpose

ENGIE is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and disciplined Provincial Sales Manager with a passion for entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and financial inclusion to join our team. The Regional Sales Manager has the responsibility of achieving company sales targets in the region; ensuring best customer experience; provide support and guidance to the Team Leaders and Sales Agents and monitor the PH of the region, to ensure that it’s kept low. A successful Regional Business Manager is a critical thinker, attentive to details and an excellent communicator. This position requires a strong working knowledge of sales and marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

Ensure an exceptional customer experience at all times in your region; Achieve company sales target in the region and support general sales push Provide exceptional leadership and management to your sales teams and Sales Agents Coordinate and manage regional sales and marketing activities Hit sales targets for new customers and upgrades; Ensure we identify quality customers and that portfolio health is strong in your region Mentor new Team Leaders and support them in achieving the ENGIE values Quickly respond to fraud issues and ensure they are handled swiftly Promote/motivate and retain as many PH agents as possible Ensure the Portfolio Health brand is strong in the region Ensure MySol Brand is visible in all Points of Sale in your region with demos, posters, flyers, signage Ensure Service Centers are providing quality after-sales services in your region Provide support and guidance to the Team Leaders and Sales Agents Report to Management matters that arise as soon as they do and find solutions to challenges in the region Report on competitors and their status Custodian of ENGIE property Represent ENGIE in the regions Coordinate with the Trainers and Service Centers Agents to ensure their departments run smoothly Go above and beyond to uphold ENGIE values and support the ENGIE family in all other departments Bridge the gap between the sales team and management and promote staff welfare Any other duties assigned by management

Ability to work in teams or independently Must be physically fit and active as he has to travel to various locations High level of emotional intelligence High level of integrity and community policing Critical thinking skills (ability to think outside the box) Good problem-solving skills (solutions oriented) Good influencing and negotiation skills Flexibility with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Willingness to travel extensively and work at irregular hours as required Have a valid driving permit Willingness and desire to learn new ideas

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.  Experiences in sales/business development is an added advantage   Minimum 3 (Three) years of experience working in the Energy Sector Proven experience in sales and technical management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.  Basic knowledge of the PAYGO technology  Basic understanding of Health & Safety Strong leadership and team management skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.  Technical knowledge of solar energy systems and installation processes.  Languages: Portuguese (fluent) and English (fluent)
