PRS Assistant Product Lead - Fine Art & Valuables

The core responsibilities of the Assistant Fine Art & Valuable Collections Line Leader role are to collaborate with the Valuables Line of Business leader, analytics, actuarial, data science, product development, underwriting, claims, and marketing partners to manage the profitability and growth of the Valuables class (i.e. fine art, antiques, jewelry, wine, and collectibles).

Responsibilities include:

Support the Valuables Product Leader in driving financial metrics relating to the Valuables line of business Support projects to drive profitability, growth, and portfolio management, monitoring results patterns and loss trends Engage with brokers, agents and alternate distribution channels to promote Chubb as the lead Valuables market Work in a team environment with Sales, Underwriting, Risk Consulting, Operations, IT, Claims, General Counsel, and Actuarial to achieve business plans Assist in the development and implementation of underwriting guidelines for the Valuables line Work with Regional Teams to identify emerging trends and develop strategies to manage risk Evaluate market competitiveness. This includes working with the Analytics team and field representatives to determine pricing competitiveness, having an understanding of market drivers for personal lines of business and  evaluating competitive advantages/disadvantages of our product Provide marketplace-based insights and recommendations to improve competitiveness, coverage needs, and client/agent experience Develop strategic partnerships with specialized art and collections vendors Build relationships with art and jewelry centers of influence and new business referral sources

Skills:

Strong understanding of the Valuable Collections line of business including coverage, pricing and rate indications An in-depth knowledge of art and collections market trends Candidate should possess strong leadership, collaboration, and influence management skills Aptitude for evaluating, analyzing and interpreting data and loss trends Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and develop long-term strategies Data-driven decision maker; able to complete thorough research and investigation yet make decisions in a reasonable timeframe Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively work independently and with established teams 

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 5 + years of art and jewelry insurance experience Bachelor’s degree Professional certification or art related degree (e.g. art history, art business, conservation, or appraisal) Knowledge of art market trends and collection valuation Highly motivated self-starter, highly organized and detail oriented Ability to develop and manage relationships with internal customers as well as agents and client representatives  Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Specialized collection knowledge, in addition to art, is a plus (e.g. jewelry, wine, collector cars)

This position will be responsible for supporting the Fine Art & Valuable Collections Product Leader in managing the growth and profitability of the line of business.

The pay range for the role is $105,600 to $163,200. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
