Prudential Reporting Expert – Financial Reporting Senior Analyst
**Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst** Regulatory Reporting team within Finance is responsible for preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual returns to Central Banks and other policymakers. The reporting requirements are spread across Financial, Statistical, and Prudential regimes. Financial and Statistical reporting team is responsible for categorizing end of period positions in the form of locally required balance sheet & P&L statements, while Prudential reporting team is responsible for capital adequacy calculation as per actual Basel rules, which includes accurate monitoring and reporting of capital ratios to several stakeholders including senior management, business leads and regulators. This role also collaborated with Traders, Middle Office and Policy team. Our focus in on a large EMEA Broker-Dealer with a wide range of financial products. **What you’ll do:** + Production & delivery of daily, monthly or quarterly local and consolidated Counterparty & Credit Risk reports depending on special country requirements + Support the submission of reports to various constituencies (National / central regulators like Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) etc) based on requirements such as IFRS, UK GAAP, Basel, CRR 2 & 3. + Support the US & UK Recovery & Resolution templates preparation & submission + Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events + Participation in efficiency and innovation projects on ad hoc basis by reviewing and developing current processes using advanced digitalization tools + Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency + Liaising with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues + Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries) + Benefit from your organized personality, attention to details and independent working style + Use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance **What we’ll need from you:** + 3+ years of work experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting + Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles and Financial Markets and Products/Regulatory Reporting requirements + Excellent analytical skills, confident MS Excel knowledge + Knowledge of Python, Knime is an advantage + University/College degree in finance/accounting + Knowledge about UK GAAP / IFRS is highly advantageous + Knowledge about Basel 3 is highly advantageous + Languages: English (mandatory) + Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills + Time management We are a development-focused organization.
