These consultations will occur through an asynchronous messaging platform (to be answered as able), or through scheduled phone consultation. The LCSW would also develop and present ECHO webinars for CoCM. The LCSW will be available to provide peer supervision to clinicians within schools, and to support schools in their efforts to enhance their student well-being approaches and supports, through connection with the Utah School Mental Health Collaborative. The LCSW may also be asked to provide consultation to clinicians in primary care offices or in emergency departments, as need arises. The LCSW will help to prepare educational content, in cooperation with consulting child psychiatrists, to present to school personnel through educational ECHO webinars. May be responsible for supervising the work of Social Workers, Interns or other caseworkers. Ideal candidates have strong assessment and coordination skills, have worked with adolescents, children and their families, and have experience on a multidisciplinary team. Preference will be given to LCSWs who have experience working within schools and/or CoCM. Proficiency with technology, including Google applications and Zoom is also preferred. Position is remote **Responsibilities** **Essential Responsibilities:** Consultation and Collaboration + Consult and collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to promote effective implementation of services. + Co-facilitate ECHO seminars for school personnel, currently scheduled for the 4th Thursday of the month at 8 am. Research and Program Evaluation + In conjunction with the CALL -UP HRSA Evaluation Group, contribute to evaluation and application of research as a foundation for service delivery and, in collaboration with others, use various techniques and technology resources for data collection, measurement, and analysis to support effective practices at the individual, group, and/or systems levels. Data-Based Decision Making and Accountability + Utilize varied models and methods of assessment and data collection for identifying strengths and needs of school consultation program, developing effective services and programs, and measuring progress and outcomes. Legal, Ethical, and Professional Practice + Provide services consistent with ethical, legal, and professional standards; engage in responsive ethical and professional decision-making; collaborate with other professionals; and apply professional work characteristics needed for effective practice as school psychologists, including respect for human diversity and social justice, communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, responsibility, adaptability, initiative, dependability, and technology skills. Other responsibilities: + Provide education regarding brief therapy interventions as part of CALL -UP CoCM + Develop and co-present ECHO trainings for school personnel + Facilitate student (patient) ED discharge and follow-up with school and primary care providers, in concert with care coordinator. + On occasion, if indicated and directed by consulting child psychiatrist, conduct tele-evaluation for children/adolescents in rural areas of Utah. + Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: + Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above. + Program development and evaluation skills. + Outreach consultation skills. + Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills. + Ability to provide care appropriate to the population served. + Ability to provide patient care to patients and families resistant to treatment and delivering quality care within the constraints of managed care. **Minimum Qualifications** Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W. **) certificate for clinical practice and two years directly related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team; ability to communicate verbally as well as in writing; and experience with conflict resolution when counseling individuals, couples and groups required.** **Experience working with community resources, instructing and supervising Social Workers, Interns and other caseworkers preferred.** **Five years of experience may be required in some areas.** An L.C.S.W. is earned after completing 4000 hours of Social Work experience and a passing score on the L.C.S.W. exam. This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated vaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior to the first day of work.
