What you will do?
Perform processes necessary to deliver timely and accurate payroll services with high level of volume and accuracy. Identify and initiate best practices to improve productivity within agreed timeframes ensuring the financial accuracy as per benefits and taxes consistent with Union and State wage and labor laws and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Manage and guarantee monthly/semi-monthly/weekly payroll accurately.Drive and lead a healthy business relationship between internal GM functions and third party vendor contracts.Proactively identify process deficiencies and act on them to strengthen the payroll function.Lead/support payroll project implementations while ensuring proper integration of processes are captured during system design part to eliminate of gaps with Best in Class and opportunities to consolidate and improve processes.Lead various audits as per GM internal and other local statutory requirements.Ensure adequate controls are in place to protect data and ensure that changes are properly authorized and updated in a timely manner.Manage the department budget for the payroll function, including 3rd party costs.Work Appropriately
