Engine Technician - Shop

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time, 1st shift Engine Technician - Shop position available at our Corpus Christi, Texas location. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday from 7 AM - 4 PM. 

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing high-quality teardown, inspection, and repairs of diesel engines (natural gas) in a shop environment, responding to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner, and ensuring maximum value for work performed.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:

Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly such as teardown, inspection, and repairs of diesel engines (natural gas) in a shop environment. At least 2 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of diesel engines are required OR

equivalent diesel tech schooling is required.

Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level. Ability to work with limited supervision. Must have own tools. Must have a valid and clean driver's license.
