$10,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Our Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) located in Whitman is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient assessments, plans of care, and medication management, including medication assisted treatment services using evidence based comprehensive and integrated client-centered care for persons served- both in person and via Telehealth. The PMHNP will collaborate with other CCBHC team members, including mental health and substance use disorder clinicians, peer recovery coach, and case manager.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supports adherence to established standards of psychiatric care

· Managing patient cases to ensure personalized, high-quality care

· Psychiatric and substance abuse evaluations, diagnosis and plans of care; urgent medical treatment and referrals as needed.

· Prescriptive writing and medication management

· Provide Medication Assisted Treatment as appropriate

· Providing patient education relating to the illness of chemical dependence and the process of recovery

· Coordinating aftercare plans to support long-term recovery


Qualifications:

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

· Active Commonwealth of Massachusetts license – PMNHP/ APRN/ RNCS

· Current DEA

· Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration required

· Relevant experience in working with substance use disorder and dual diagnosis population (MAT)

· Must demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity, excellent communication, time-management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Bilingual candidate may receive additional compensation

· Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence and own means of transportation required
