Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health: Rural Clinics (RC) has an opening for a full time Psychiatric Casework II. This position can provide services at any of our Rural Clinics locations. Rural Clinics provides an array of outpatient behavioral health services for both adults and children in clinics which are located across Rural Nevada. Services are generally provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Services assist individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and recovery and follow Agency procedures and reimbursement guidelines. This position assesses people's needs for any medical, educational, social, or other services which can include vocational, financial, transportation and housing; monitors consumer and provider progress on care plan goals; referring consumer to appropriate services according to the plan of care in accordance with the State Medicaid Services Manual Chapter 2500 and with state laws, policies and procedures. This position understands residential requirements, both at a state and federal level, and participates in meetings at the agency and clinic levels. This position also provides Rehabilitative Mental Health services, such as Basic Skills Training and Psychosocial Rehabilitation services as prescribed through licensed personnel and in accordance with the State Medicaid Services.
