Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Psychiatric Technician for a full-time position for the ATAMMC at Dumfries Ambulatory Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia.
This opportunity will support active military members, veterans and their dependents.
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours a week) Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm

Administers, ensures proper accuracy and completion by the patient, scores, and present results for Psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed Psychiatrist.Assists the physician, RN, Social Worker and other treatment team members in decision-making to ensure complete and appropriate information is shared. Identifies and reports any pertinent behavioral, medical, and/or psychosocial data to the physician, RN, and/or Social Worker. Serves as positive role model by establishing maintaining positive, therapeutic relationships and appropriate boundaries with patients and their guardians.Implements behavior management protocols in a safe, and therapeutic manner.Completes vital sign monitoring per policy.Provide patient privacy and comply with HIPAA.Practicing OSHA safety standards.Perform accurate, legal and ethical documentation at all times.Assist with other duties as needed and assigned.Position Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen (proof required)Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health related discipline.Must have prior, successful experience administering Psychological testing (examples: IQ tests, personality tests).Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.2 years of experience within Behavioral HealthValid and current license from any stateMust furnish immunizationsFor More Information Contact:
