We are seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join our team in our 7-bed residential program in Bethlehem, PA.

 

The Psychiatric Technician will: 

Participate in and follow the treatment planning process. Provide direct care and supervision for individuals with behavioral health and mental health challenges in a 7-bed residential home. Assist, teach and monitor client’s daily living activities, including but not limited to personal hygiene, bathing, shaving, grooming, dressing, laundry, room care, nutrition, and eating habits.   Coach/model/educate on activities of daily living (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping) and communication skills.  Provide support/comfort/guidance to residents.

Provide reminders and education about social norms and safety.

Organize and engage residents in community-based, recovery based and recreational activities (movies, shopping, eating out, parks, etc.) ' Lead/Co-lead educational and recreational group activities. Complete all Merakey trainings as assigned on a timely basis. Attend and participate in all staff meetings as scheduled. 

Earn $15.61 houly, or $17.61 with the selection of our Enhanced Pay option!
