As a Psychiatrist at Brightli, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and creating comprehensive treatment plans for patients with mental health and/or addiction medicine concerns. Your duties will include providing direct patient care, participating in emergency services, collaborating with internal staff and external entities, and engaging in public behavioral health education initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, proficiency in using electronic health record systems, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population.

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients facing mental health and addiction challenges, improving their overall well-being.Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management, offering crucial support and guidance.Collaborate with internal staff and external entities, such as the court system, to provide expert medical/psychiatric consultation.Participate in emergency services, offering rapid aid and support during emotional crises.Ensure comprehensive follow-up care for all clients, maintaining continuity and promoting long-term recovery.Join client staffing meetings to identify problems and establish treatment goals, assuming management responsibility for assigned cases.Support management needs through data collection, program evaluation, and grant applications, contributing to the improvement of services.Engage in public and community behavioral health education initiatives through forums, educational materials, and media appearances, increasing awareness and reducing stigma.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of a residency program in psychiatryBoard certification or eligibility in psychiatry or child and adolescent psychiatry · Valid medical license to practice in MissouriAdditional Qualifications:
Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.Approved (and maintain) clinical privileges with Brightli’s Credentialing Department.Must not be under any formal disciplinary action by state board(s)Physical Requirements
The role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. ·Manual dexterity is needed to use hands and fingers for writing, typing, and manipulating controls.Must be able to reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear. ·Occasionally, the employee may need to walk or run up and down stairs during crises or emergencies.Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.Brightli is on a Mission:
