CVP subsidiary Titan-Auxo, LLC is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team in providing mental health care services to our Nation's Veterans. This position supports the Bath VA Medical Center in Bath, NY, focusing on outpatient psychiatric care.
Location: Bath VA Medical Center located at 76 Veterans Ave, Bath, NY 14810
Work Schedule: To be determined (flexible scheduling may be available)
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for Veterans in an outpatient setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychopharmacological interventions and psychotherapy when appropriate. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Conduct psychiatric assessments, manage medication, and monitor patient progress. Provide crisis intervention and management as needed. Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records. Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of treatment protocols. Stay current with the latest advancements in psychiatric care and VA-specific mental health initiatives. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adhere to VA policies and procedures. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges: Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. Completion of an accredited residency in Psychiatry. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry. Current, active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders in adult and geriatric populations. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a government background investigation.Desired Skills
Prior experience working with Veterans or in a VA healthcare setting. Familiarity with VA policies and procedures related to mental health care. Experience or interest in telemedicine or virtual psychiatric care delivery. Additional training or certification in geriatric psychiatry.
