Job Summary:
Join our compassionate and collaborative team as a Psychiatrist, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management, while also engaging in public behavioral health education initiatives. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to helping others and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your expertise will contribute to staff training and program evaluation, ensuring that we continue to provide high-quality care to our community.
As a Psychiatrist, you will examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients, participate in emergency services, and ensure comprehensive follow-up care for all clients. Your role will also involve collaboration with a diverse team and support for Nurse Practitioners, fellows, and residents.

Key Responsibilities:
· Examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with mental health and/or addiction medicine concerns.
· Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management services.
· Participate in emergency services to offer rapid aid during emotional crises.
· Ensure comprehensive follow-up care for all clients.
· Join client staffing meetings to identify problems and establish treatment goals.
· Attend required meetings, trainings, and staff development activities.
· Support management needs, such as data collection and program evaluation.
· Engage in public and community behavioral health education initiatives.
· Complete psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up appointments in a timely manner.
· Collaborate and provide support to assigned Nurse Practitioners, fellows, residents, and students.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· Medical degree from an accredited institution
· Completion of a residency program in psychiatry
· Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry or child and adolescent psychiatry
· Valid medical license to practice in the applicable state/province
Additional Qualifications:
· Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
· Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
· Must not be under any formal disciplinary action by state board(s).
Physical Requirements:
· The role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
· Manual dexterity is needed to use hands and fingers for writing, typing, and manipulating controls.
· Must be able to reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
· Occasionally, the employee may need to walk or run up and down stairs during crises or emergencies.
· The work environment can be stressful and fast-paced, with a typically moderate noise level.
