Job Summary

A Psychologist provides high quality psychological care to clients in the KidsPeace subsidiary corporations and assures that procedures and protocols are in compliance with KidsPeace standards, licensing requirements, accrediting body standards, and the American Psychological Association’s Ethical Guidelines.

Job Duties

Appropriately administer and score psychological test protocols, analyze and interpret psychological findings as appropriate for client needs Provide useful, timely information in written and/oral form to treatment team members and referral agencies Provide educational and achievement information to school personnel and school administrators for purposes of establishing appropriate educational interventions Provide psychological interventions in group therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy as needed within the program Contribute to the development of special behavioral plans and assessments of clients in need of specialized services Provide staff with information regarding psychological interventions for various populations of clients Provide training, consultation, and supervision to students and staff regarding clinical issues Participate in committees and work-groups related to policies, program development, research, and clinical issues

Qualifications

Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in psychology preferred. PA state licensure as a psychologist is required Demonstrated experience with children and adolescents required, preferably including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Inpatient psychiatric or residential experience recommended Prior supervisory experience and training preferred
