As the Clinical Psychologist, you will provide mental health services including psychological testing to clients at Seneca Family of Agency Mental Health Clinics in Santa Ana, Lake Forest and Anaheim.  As the Psychologist, you will also collaborate with a treatment team, consult with Therapists to inform treatment, and provides referrals as necessary.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Psychologists support youth receiving services from our mental health clinics across Orange County. Our psychologists support youth ages birth up to their 21st birthday, most having trauma history. Testing occurs in person (at the clinic sites) and via telehealth, with occasional travel to schools if additional information is required. There is a lot of growth opportunity for the creation of systems as well as growing internal resources with other psychological assistants/associates.

Responsibilities Accept and respond in a timely manner to referrals of children and adolescents who present with symptoms of psychiatric disorders. Complete assessment and evaluation process of assigned clients, including completion of appropriate tests, instruments, tools or assessments in accordance with accepted professional standards and Medi-Cal guidelines.Maintain availability for crisis intervention services by providing office staff with updated contact information including contact information and weekly work schedules. Complete and submit all progress notes and billing documents within 36 hours of the contact and in accordance with Medi-Cal format for documentation and meet/exceed productivity requirements of 100 DSH per month.Complete regular, timely reviews of all assigned cases at six-month intervals in accordance with Medi-Cal format and timelines.Comply with all requirements of child abuse reporting, Medi-Cal compliance and confidentiality, including HIPAA, in accordance with standards set by law, Medi-Cal regulations and Seneca Family of Agencies. Supervise any Psychological Assistants or Associates for the region.   Qualifications

REQUIRED

Doctoral degree in psychology or similar field and licensed (PhD or PsyD) in the state of California.Experience providing mental health therapy to children and families and working with children who are part of the child welfare system.Knowledge and experience utilizing psychological testing instruments for children and adolescents.Clearance of TB test, physical exam, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements .Valid California Driver's License and insurability under Seneca's automobile policy.Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required or an HR-approved medical/religious exemption.

PREFERRED

Experience with adoption and issues of family relationships in adoption. Schedule Full-time: client driven schedule. Benefits Starting at $89,000-$103,000 per year.
