Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic seeks a Pediatric Psychologist to join the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) in Mankato, MN. Pediatric Psychologist is responsible for providing a comprehensive array of evidence-based assessment, consultation and treatment to our pediatric patient population.  The Psychologist will work in close collaboration with the Pediatric and Family Medicine care teams.  In addition to individual therapy, the psychologist may lead psychoeducational groups, psychotherapy groups, internal education, and community education.  Testing and assessments as appropriate. The Psychologist will participate in clinical collaboration with a larger team of multidisciplinary providers including other PhD/PsyDs, LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs, providing clinical leadership and training in evidence-based practice consistent with their level of expertise.   Research opportunities exist within the local or larger MCHS/Mayo Clinic network.   




Qualifications

Must have a doctorate (Ph.D./Psy.D.) from an APA-approved training program including clinical internship and unrestricted license to practice Psychology. Prefer a completed postdoctoral fellowship which includes supervised practice within primary care OR previous experience providing psychological services within a medical or health system environment.  Must be licensed by MN Board of Psychology prior to start date.   ABPP Board Certification (any area) is required within 3 years of hire if the candidate does not currently hold this credential.   Maintenance of ABPP certification is expected and supported.
