I.  Major Responsibilities:

1.    Plan formal neuropsychological assessments and implement intervention strategies for both inpatient and outpatient individuals referred for neuropsychological services.
2.    Administer and score standardized psychological/neuropsychological tests to adults.
3.    Review electronic medical record and other records of referred patients for evaluation.
4.    Interview, record appropriate information, and evaluate all patients for neuropsychological functioning and testing.
5.    Assist the faculty neurologists in clinical examination of patients.

II.    Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:
1.    Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field 
2.    The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and computer skills; ability to communicate
effectively and to work with patients of all levels.
3.    Excellent communication skills to impart complex test results to other professionals.
4.    Incumbent must be able to pay meticulous attention to detail for accurate test instrument completion, scoring and data entry.
5.    Candidate must possess interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and staff.
6.    The incumbent must be able to work comfortably with computer software for testing and reporting, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred:
1.    Active Certification by the Board of Certified Psychometrists. 

Experience/Skills:

Required:
1.    3 years clinical experience in related area.
2.    Relevant employment within the past 5 years. 

Preferred:
1.    Previous experience in the psychometrist role. 
2.    Previous experience with patients having cognitive and neurological disorders.
