Description We are offering a contract for a Part-Time Bookkeeper position in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role primarily involves maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, handling accounts, and processing data entries. The workplace is primarily office-based, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed. Responsibilities: • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks • Conduct account reconciliation activities • Perform data entry tasks specifically in QuickBooks • Maintain complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel • Execute month end close procedures • Conduct bank reconciliations • Manage payroll operations • Maintain and update the cloud filing system • Ensure accurate bookkeeping records are maintained. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up to date • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), managing outgoing bills and payments • Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), overseeing incoming payments and invoices • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations, verifying the company's financial records with bank statements • Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles and practices • Capable of performing accurate Data Entry tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis • Experience with Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is recorded correctly • Knowledge of Payroll processing, managing salary payments, and deductions • Proficiency in QuickBooks software for managing company's accounts and finances.
