About the Role

- Lead a team of staffs (local and outsource) to organise, plan, control the activities, resources, budget of assigned projects and business units.
- Analyse business requirements, designs and implements system by enhancing the functionalities and ensuring system stability.
- Act as liaison with all parties in feasibility study, system, infrastructure design and hardware/software evaluation and formulating/implementing IT solutions compliant to Company Policies & Standards and meeting user requirements and company strategic directions.
- Coordinate with various users to implement solutions and delivery in PT Domain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Management, Application Development and Implementation (70%)

Manage a team of local and offshore resources to overview project/ product development to deliver successful system implementation on time.Work with assigned Business Units and users to understand/review/integrate user requirements and to propose IT solutions.Act as a liaison between internal users and IT in all aspects in system development.Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustment as necessary.Provide continuous improvement for existing systems and streamlines software development process to control software integrity.Work with users to define/streamline testing on product launch activities.Manage vendors to meet project timelines and quality of the delivery.Participate in quality management reviews.Ensure smooth production run of application systems.Review vendor solution and coding stand.

People Management (20%)

Identify/ recommend good performers and assess their ability as potential successors for the responsible area.Train team members for enhancing overall knowledge on business, applications and technical knowledge.

System Support (5%)

Analyze and solve technical problems and ensure smooth production run of application systems and try every effort to maintain system availability according to SLA.

Others (5%)

Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by immediate manager to meet business requirements.Conduct research on new IT technology with reference to corporate standards and prepare reports and recommendations for management review and approval.Adopt new development approach, apply new technology (rule engine, BI, case management, BPM) in application.

Job Requirements:

University / College graduate in Computing/IT or related discipline.Minimum 15 years of relevant experienceKnowledge in Pension and relevant system is preferableAt least 5 years’ experience is at the supervisory role leading team of development workProficient in at SQL Server, Azure CloudProblem solving/leadership skillsEffective communication skillsCoaching and technical training techniquesExperience in COBOL is an advantageMandarin speaking is an advantage
