Where You Will Work    

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning and more. This position requires work to be performed in-person at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix. The Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration.

Description

Supervise, coordinate, provide direction, and advanced problem solving. Review and improve the performance of existing process control systems.

Directs or supervises others on moderate to complex issues including mentoring and developing junior engineers.Review and improve performance of regulatory and advanced control software and human machine interface in order to identify opportunities to implement process optimization through automationRegular review and improvement of alarm management systems (alarm rationalization). Participate and represent process automation in safety and reliability processes and studiesIdentify and troubleshoot specialized ,analytical and advanced sensorsPerforms life cycle management on process control systemsImplements process automation solutions through delegation of workReviews and/or manages project proposals and verifies the quality of project workReview and improve performance of process control system communication and the plant historianPerform other duties as required.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and nine (9) years of technical experience in an area or areas relevant to Process Automation, including 3 years of experience with regulatory and advanced control systems ORAssociate’s Degree and seven (7) years of technical experience in an area or areas relevant to Process Automation including 3 years of experience with regulatory and advanced control systems ORBachelor’s degree in an appropriate scientific discipline and five (5) years related experience in engineering relevant to Process Automation or related field including 3 years of experience with regulatory and advanced control systems, ORMaster’s degree in an appropriate scientific discipline and three (3) years related experience in engineering relevant to Process Automation or related field including 3 years of experience with regulatory and advanced control systems

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous supervision experience Electrical safety training or experienceProcess control systems manufacture’s training or certificationExperience in process historian or other data base storage and retrieval system Understanding of science behind comminution, flotation, exothermic reactions and other processes used in mining and mineral beneficiation and processing.

 

Criteria/Conditions:

Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

What We Offer You 

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $39.50 - $54.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
