POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sushi Cook is responsible for ensuring all guests receive the highest quality sushi and other food items served from an immaculate kitchen in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepares menu items as ordered for restaurant patrons strictly adhering to recipe guidelines.
Ensures all prepared menu items meet quality expectations and plate specifications 100% of the time.
Restocks workstations with products as needed.
Follows proper personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by the health department.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment by always following safety guidelines.
Expertly cuts, slices, and fillets different types of seafood.
Prepares all types of sushi.
Interacts and provides counter service assistance to guests dining directly at sushi counter

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Work experience as a Sushi Cook
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Ability to work as a team
Working knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
Ability to work both fast and accurately

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly walks, stands and lifts up to 50lbs
