WATE’s award winning production team is searching for a part time technical media operator. Working along side the stations news, promotion and lifestyle departments, will take part in producing over 48 hours of weekly live programming to the East Tennessee area.  

Support station clients by properly operating the studio production control equipment including but not limited to, production switcher, studio cameras, and audio board.

Using automation to properly code and manage studio production equipment to produce live and recorded shows from the WATE studio.

Insure a clean/ tidy work space, and proper operation of studio equipment by performing regular scheduled maintenance and cleaning.

Other duties as assigned by a direct supervisor

Minimal staff requirements at time of hire:

Can lift 25 pounds

Can climb a 12 foot ladder

Fluent in English written and verbal

Basic computer skills using a keyboard and mouse.

Can properly use email, scheduling and work management software

Must be available to work mornings, nights and weekends as scheduled.

Experience with Ross Video equipment is preferred.
