The Therapist is responsible for assessing client's mental health status, developing a client specific treatment plan, providing individual, group and family therapy and completing all required clinical documentation that is in compliance with KidsPeace and regulatory requirements. Job Duties / Essential Functions + Complete client assessments and develop a client centered, individualized treatment plan with each client. + Designate client problem areas, assist client in formulating related goals and tasks and support client in achieving these goals via the completion of specific tasks. + Provide individual, group and family therapy which directly address client treatment plan goals. + Develop a discharge plan that meets the ongoing needs of each client. + Complete all required documentation in a timely manner on KidsPeace approved forms and according to KidsPeace and regulatory standards. + All other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences) + Masters Degree in Human Services related field. Applicable state licensure or licensend eligible preferred. + Minimum of two years experience in Human Services required. + Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred + Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. + Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. + Must be 21 years of age.
