About the Role

Woodside Energy is seeking an experienced PT2 Integrated Commissioning & Start-Up (CSU) Process Engineer to support the Pluto Train 2 project. This role will focus on commissioning, start-up, and initial operations of Pluto Train 2, with an opportunity to transition into an operational engineering role post-2026. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of the project.

Key Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve process system issues across mechanical equipment, components, and systems. Perform operability, plant troubleshooting, and control studies, including simulation modeling (HYSYS). Conduct plant shutdown, warm start-up, and other critical tests in a training simulator. Support commissioning and start-up activities to optimize system reliability and availability. Ensure compliance with vendor package installations and provide technical support for equipment performance during commissioning and start-up. Ensure adherence to local and national safety codes and industry standards. Promote and implement a Zero Accident Philosophy in all commissioning and start-up activities. Engage with clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution. Provide technical guidance and supervision during commissioning, start-up, and operational activities. Review commissioning and start-up plans and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure project milestones are met. Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering (or equivalent). Extensive experience in commissioning, start-up, operations, maintenance, and testing of process and utility systems in oil and gas processing facilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide technical guidance for testing, start-up, and operations. Experience in LNG projects is desirable. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across multiple teams. Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards related to commissioning, operations, and maintenance. Additional Requirements

As this is a site-based role that may require extended periods at the Pluto LNG site, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Hold a valid Industry Safety Induction (Safer Together) certification, or Demonstrate 12 months of oil and gas experience within the last two years to qualify for an experienced worker exemption. Assignment Details Start Date: Mid-March 2025. Duration: 18 months (potential opportunity for an operational engineering role post-2026).
