The AP Jr. Lead will be the liaison between the Business Unit, External vendors and the Outsourced partner, guaranteeing compliance with the procedures and policies established by SBD for the reception, processing and payment of supplier’s invoices through a world class customer service.
Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with SBD policies and procedures to contribute to the company's strategy.Works hand by hand with the Outsource partner in the Accounts Payable team to guarantee the end to end process.Follow up on timely resolution of invoices with BU’s (Buyers/Requestors) to ensure ton time payments to vendors.Ensure that all requests from vendors and business united assigned are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.Facilitate vendor’s reconciliation process.Coordinate the GRIR reconciliation and purge for BU plants under scope.Coordinate with GSS Analyst and Outsourced partner the identification, reporting, analysis and reconciliation of the aged open items for the correspondent BU’s.Analyze, review and present performance results the metrics of the area and the Business Unit and provide action plans for the solution of identified issues, recurrent offenders, etc. to improve indicators results.Propose improvements for the AP process.Support on new integrations/migrations for the assigned BU’s.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes including experience in the Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) processes.Proven high performer (e.g. strong time management skills, ability to multitask, highly organized).Excellent problem identification, prioritization and remediation skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Power point, Outlook).Education/Experience:
