Basic Job Functions: We are looking for an experienced, skilled and safety-oriented PU Foam, Certifications and QM Specialist responsible for overseeing PU Process and PU QC across multiple facilities in the US and Canada.This role ensures PU quality and consistency while maintaining compliance with industry standards and certifications. It will be a resource for the solution to the PU problems or issues being faced at jobsites.This position will have direct contact and coordination with certification agencies such as Factory Mutual, UL, and Intertek, and will play a key role in maintaining QC manuals, records and reports, and coordinating testing and documentation of our manufacturing processes.This position will be expected to identify PU quality metric trends and process deviations trends, recommending solutions in a teamwork effort.It will also be required to track PU process and quality metrics critical to the success of our quality program and share them periodically with the rest of the leadership team,This position is centrally located at Lewisville TX, Lake Vista office, reporting to Technical Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities:1. Process Control: Develop, implement, and monitor PU process control strategies to optimize production efficiency and product quality. Analyze process data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues. 2. PU Quality Control: Coordinate the establishment and maintenance of QC procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications. Conduct regular inspections and coordinate internal and external audits to maintain high-quality standards.3. Certification Compliance: Serve as the primary contact with certification agencies (Factory Mutual, UL, Intertek, Etc.) and the manufacturing plants to ensure product compliance. Prepare and submit documentation required for product certifications and renewals. Coordinate certification audits and manage corrective actions as needed. 4. Documentation and Testing: Maintain and update QC manuals and related documentation to ensure Certification compliance. Coordinate certification testing schedules and ensure timely completion of tests. Analyze test results and provide recommendations for PU process improvements. 5. Team Coordination: Coordinate and support QC teams across 10 different facilities being physically present in all of them through the year, increasing presence as required. Provide direct training and guidance to ensure consistency in PU process control and quality standards. Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and operational excellence. [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: + Minimum of 5 years of experience in polyurethane foam manufacturing and process control in Insulated Metal Panel lines. + Minimum of 5 years of experience leading Polyurethane foam process test and new developments, finished product testing and PU process control. + Experience with external certification agencies periodic audits procedures, documentation, corrective actions and reports. + Experience leading trials of PU foam runs to meet or exceed certification test/standards for existing or developing products. + Ability to travel to our different plant locations and/or jobsites on short notice.
