**Job Description:** + We are seeking a dynamic and creative Public Affairs/Social Media, Community Engagements Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that support our public affairs initiatives, engage with the community, and amplify our organization's message. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a passion for connecting with diverse audiences. **Responsibilities:** + Help design and execute community events (both virtual and in-person) + Help build and manage relationships with key community partners in the SF Bay Area. + Recruit internal employees to participate in community events and volunteer opportunities. + Assist with social media and website content for client Community channels. + Provide support with billing and invoicing for event sponsorships. + Support overall Public Affairs initiatives at client. + Ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders including internal colleagues effectively and sensitively, community partners, community members, etc. + Can professionally and empathetically communicate on topics of philanthropy, partnership, collaboration, community engagement, etc. Applicants need to be comfortable with sometimes saying 'no' to asks and proactively redirecting conversations as needed. + Strong ability to manage logistics and administrative tasks. + Need to be extremely organized, proactive and eager to tackle planned and spontaneous projects and tasks as they arise, often at the same time.
