What You Will Do:
This position will play a critical role in leading a team for management consulting projects, from project initiation, through analysis, solutions development, implementation, and closeout; projects can span organizational development and transformation, strategic planning and implementation, business process improvement, risk management, change management and strategic communications, as well as direct-mission support to federal health clients. This position will provide guidance and support for project deliverables and quality assurance efforts.
What You Will Need:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
Prior experience working with or for any of the following Federal Health Agencies: NIH (National Institutes of Health), CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid), The VHA (Veterans' Health Administration), CDC (Centers for Disease Control), FDA (Federal Drug Administration) or HHS (Health & Human Services) or with or for any State or Local Health Agency.
3+ years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, process improvement or project/program management
Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to develop strong team and client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)
Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
DC metro area preferred and ability to commute to Bethesda, MD on occasion with advance notice.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Prior experience working at a large consulting firm
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience with MS Teams
Healthcare or science communications experience
The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
