This vacancy may be filled as a Probational, Promotion, or Detail to Special Duty. Detail to Special Duty may be required for a trial period prior to promotion consideration. Current classified permanent status employees may be required to accept a Probational Appointment.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive communication program that meets the information needs of members, employers, staff, and other stakeholders through retirement education workshops; employer training; seminars/conferences; various educational and informational materials for print, broadcast, and the internet; public relations functions; media relations; and other appropriate outreach efforts.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, content creation, social media management, or graphic design; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
