Position Overview

FleishmanHillard is a global integrated communications agency delivering transformational outcomes for some of the world’s biggest brands. We are looking for a PR Intern to join our Minneapolis office, which is an extension of FleishmanHillard St. Louis: our global headquarters. We offer real-world experience in public relations, reputation management, public affairs, brand marketing, internal communications, digital strategy, social engagement and content strategy. 

This full-time paid internship is 40 hours per week and runs January 16 – June 27, 2025. This internship offers a hybrid work experience (remote and in-office). Note: candidates are required to work onsite in our Minneapolis office at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about communications, eager to learn and as committed to doing great work as we are. The FleishmanHillard experience provides the opportunity to grow personally and professionally through exposure to client service and the inner workings of a global, integrated communication firm.

Interns have the opportunity to be part of account teams and assist with campaign conception to execution, conducting research, developing media materials, building relationships with journalists, drafting content, tracking and analyzing results and other account-related activities.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have at least a 3.0 GPA, previous relevant internship experience(s) and completed their junior year of college, though recent graduates are preferred. This is a full-time internship that runs throughout the academic calendar, and we are unable to accommodate class schedules. Basic job requirements include excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, strong time management, a desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and commitment to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. All candidates must also exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $17.50-$20 an hour.

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography.
