Public Relations Manager

Job Description DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A.    Prepares PR campaigns and communication plans for assigned business segment or affiliate based on business directions set.
B.    Utilizes data-driven insights in the creation of PR programs for desired target market
C.    Designs metric of success on any PR program execution
D.    Manages the implementation and execution of PR plans by closely collaborating with other teams in Corporate Communications and assigned business segments or affiliates
E.    Builds good working relationship with assigned business segments and affiliates
F.    Helps manages negative publicity/crisis situations pertaining to assigned business segment
G.    Ensures PR programs are holistic to include other Globe stakeholders such as employees, customers, and others.


NATURE OF PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

Strategic media placements through content.


REQUIREMENTS



Work Experience 

5 years of experience in public relations; experience in telco industry is preferred  


Level of Knowledge 

Any communications or marketing course graduate

a. Publicity Management - Demonstrates knowledge and ability to develop PR campaigns and do creative execution PR-led campaigns. Ability to handle and apply techniques to use various media to generate desired communications and message impact.
b. Data-driven analytics – Develops a deep understanding of publics, utilizes data and insights to create PR campaigns
c. Media Relations - Displays professionalism and maturity in relating with various media. Applies confidentially for all existing and pending projects. Puts corporate reputation, good governance and integrity above all else in dealing with any external party.
d. Crisis Management – Timeliness, adaptability and flexibility in supporting the Crisis Management team
e. People Management – Ability to interface with media entities, external consultants, creative agencies
