Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000 Annually (Based on Experience) / Exempt Position
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday)

Position Summary:
The Public Relations Specialist will support the marketing team in executing PR campaigns, building media relationships, and shaping the company's public image. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in marketing or PR, preferably within the Life Sciences industry.
Responsibilities:
+ Draft and edit press releases, blog posts, articles, and other communications.
+ Pitch stories and build relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets.
+ Monitor social media trends and respond to public engagement as needed.
+ Support media coverage and logistics for industry events and company campaigns.
+ Conduct research, track media coverage, and help evaluate PR campaign success.
Requirements & Skills:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
+ 2–3 years of experience in PR or marketing; Life Sciences industry is a plus.
+ Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
+ Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Experience with:
+ Photoshop (2+ years)
+ Canva (2+ years)
+ Microsoft Office 365 (3+ years)
+ InDesign (a plus)
+ Knowledge of social media engagement and basic design tools.
+ Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Team Environment:
+ Growing team of ~30–40, expected to reach 50 by end of 2025
