As an Inside Account Executive, your primary focus will be forging a solid business book within the IT sales landscape, explicitly catering to SHI's clientele within your designated territory. This client base comprises public sector entities, including school districts and municipal bodies. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer's objectives by leveraging an outcome-oriented sales approach. Your role will be to seamlessly align our technology solutions with these objectives, ensuring we meet and exceed customer expectations.
Success in this role demands frequent collaboration with presales resources, ensuring our sales strategy is robust and flexible. Your daily responsibilities will encompass a range of activities, from researching and profiling potential accounts to proactive prospecting. Additionally, you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering customer quotes and handling order processing, ensuring a seamless and efficient service for our clients. A crucial part of your role will be cultivating and nurturing customer relationships, anchoring our brand's position as a trusted partner.

ResponsibilitiesYour role will encompass a variety of duties, including:
Conducting account profiling through cold calling and strategic prospecting. Building and nurturing customer relationships within your designated portfolio of accounts. Making a concerted effort to fully comprehend the objectives of our customers and aligning our technology solutions to help them achieve these objectives. Providing customer quotes and managing order placements as per their requests. Expanding existing active buying accounts by skillfully profiling and handling projects throughout the complete sales cycle. Consistently meeting daily and monthly activity targets, such as monthly meetings, pipeline additions, and regular dials and talk time. Successfully meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly production quotas. Scheduling and leading customer meetings, striving to provide a top-tier customer experience. Collaborating and co-selling with SHI's internal resources, ensuring a cohesive sales approach. Gaining mastery over internal sales tools, including our CRM, ERP, and quote creation tool. Participating in product and sales training as required to constantly enhance your skills and knowledge. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum 2 years experience in sales Required Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills including clearly articulating a product's value proposition and negotiating effectively. Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers using active listening skills, empathy, and a customer-focused approach. Drive to meet or exceed sales targets and a self-motivated, proactive approach. Resilience and grit. Effective time management. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
High level of interest in Technology and a career in sales Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Additional Information Compensation consists of a base salary and a commission plan. There will be a monthly guarantee in place for the first six months. OTE first year is $50,000 - $70,000, and minimum first year earnings are $47,500. Commission plan is uncapped and provides additional earning potential.
