What You'll Do
As a Regional Practice Area Management and Operations Co-op within BCG’s Public Sector Practice Area (PSPA), you will be assuming an important role among a dynamic team that is seeking to deliver impact with our clients and in the world, while contributing to the growth of BCG and affiliation of BCG staff.

Together with the Regional Director, you will help set the strategic agenda, run the business, and implement priority initiatives across a spectrum of business development, people and affiliation, and marketing and communication activities to improve and grow the PA. You will work closely with other management and operations team members in the practice, including the sector managers, US Government Client Development team and people team for our US Federal government (BCG Fed), State and Local government (S&L), and Canada government teams.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Team with colleagues on facilitate the business
Work with the Director to support annual and interim account planning meetings Coordinate with client team and Managing Directors and Partners to collect annual planning and investmentSupport the Director with the Practice’s People Processes
Assist with building the Manage people dashboards/reports and analyze data to refine strategy Manage ECT and Senior Advisor (SA) accountability and billability; manage ECT and SA dashboards Assist with cleaning data in our people databasesRegularly maintain a tracker of the Practice Area affiliated team members, making updates and performing analysis where needed to understand broader trendsPartner with the Data and Research team with ad hoc research projects
Regularly partner with the DRS team to support research requests from client teamsDrive Affiliation, Learning, and Development
Working with the Director and the People Chair, identify opportunities and develop affiliation strategies to increase affiliation within the PA Oversee and coordinate the execution of local office affiliation programming and learning and development opportunities with consulting team membersSupport DEI strategy for the region, both internally and externallyTeam with the US Government People team on key initiatives and data analysis
Contribute to PA Communications and Marketing
With the Director, implement the internal communication and marketing plan, organizing touchpoints with different cohorts and drafting comms (e.g., townhalls/ ask-me-anything sessions, state-of-business updates, new hire and promotion announcements, holiday notes, etc.) Develop a SATT strategy for the region, working with Sectors, S&L, Fed and Canada leads; help plan activities, as needed
Support PA Meetings, Events, and other business needs
Working with the Director you will help lead the planning and execution of annual Regional PA events, from location and logistics to content curation and development, and coordination of presenters Work with Global PSPA leadership to plan the bi-annual Global PA meetings; plan and execute the annual Regional PA meetings Support scheduling and content creation for other PA leadership meetings

You will report to North America Public Sector Management Director in while also working and liaising with a myriad of Public Sector teammates in North America, particularly our US Government team in the Washington, D.C. office.
