About the department
The Medical Affairs department at Novo Nordisk is devoted to improving patient outcomes and providing medical guidance to the organization. We work closely with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and international professional associations to ensure the highest standards of medical knowledge and communication. Medical Excellence team is to drive excellence in medical affairs and ensure the highest standards of scientific engagement, medical publication and evidence generation. The role will report to Medical Excellence Director.
The position
As the Publication Manager, you need to develop and execute the publication strategy for the organization which involves managing the planning, development, and dissemination of scientific publications to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external authors, and vendors to produce high-quality, peer-reviewed publications that communicate the value and impact of the company's products and research.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or above in science-related fields is required. PhD or MD is preferred. 5 years’ or above experience in Medical Affairs within the healthcare industry is preferred. Strong project management skill and communication skills is required. Ability to work effectively leading cross-functional team Proficiency in Japanese and business level of English (oral, reading and written) is essential.
