The team is made up of over 20 hardworking and dedicated people who are above all passionate about media and specifically, Publishing, Audio, and Direct Digital. The clients range from large to small in terms of spend and we are able to provide each with the best solution they need for P, A & D. We have weekly meetings as a department and keep each other up to date with; what’s going on, ensuring workloads are shared, discuss market trends and trading opportunities As Group Account Director, you will have full responsibility for a team of media experts, delivering exceptional outcomes for high-profile accounts. This position is ideal for a forward-thinking leader who can guide brands through the evolving media landscape, with a strong focus on innovation in both traditional and digital channels. **Responsibilities** + **Client Leadership:** Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key clients, ensuring high-quality service and strategic media planning. + **Team Management:** Lead and mentor a team of Managers and Executives, fostering a collaborative environment and setting clear progression plans. + **Media Expertise:** Act as a subject matter expert in Print, Audio, and Digital media, exploring innovative solutions and driving market-leading results. + **Negotiation & Collaboration:** Work closely with senior media owners to evaluate offerings and negotiate value-driven opportunities for clients, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. + **Operational Excellence:** Drive operational excellence by meeting KPIs, managing audits, and delivering timely, quality responses to client needs. **Qualifications** + **Experience & Passion:** Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for the retail marketplace, with a keen understanding of its dynamics. + **Leadership & Vision:** Ambitious with the vision and skills to advance brand campaigns across Publishing, Direct Display, and Audio channels. + **Strategic Innovation:** Ability to drive innovation through regular test-and-learn approaches and rapid turnarounds while maintaining a focus on excellence. + **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication, with the diplomacy to challenge clients constructively. + **Interpersonal Skills:** Strong interpersonal abilities to manage relationships and foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners. + **Detail-Oriented:** Meticulous attention to detail in planning and execution. + **People Management:** Proven people management skills, promoting a positive and productive team environment. + **Media Strategy Expertise:** Extensive knowledge in planning and buying across publishing, audio (including digital platforms), and direct digital channels. + **Collaboration & Integration:** Work closely with digital, programmatic, and comms planning teams to ensure campaign synergy and optimization. + **Commercial & Negotiation Skills:** Highly commercially astute with a track record of innovative work and confident in negotiations, maintaining strong relationships with partners and auditors. + **Retail Landscape Knowledge:** Strong understanding of the retail landscape and the ability to apply this knowledge to benefit high-profile brands. + **Track Record:** Proven success in developing commercially successful, innovative campaigns for high-profile clients. **Additional information** **Publicis Media** has fantastic benefits on offer to all of our employees.
