POSITION SUMMARY

Gather and analyze business data to maximize performance and increase sales for strategic accounts in assigned region. Develop and update action plans, including but not limited to customer presentations and pricing proposals to increase region’s sales and profitability.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Gather and analyze sales data for strategic accounts; generate, and translate sales reports tracking sales to goals; provide sales metrics to sales reps in order to achieve account objectives Analyze strategic account results in comparison to established business plans; present results to internal and external stakeholders Create, track, and deploy sales contests for both sales teams and customers Validate, transform, and maintain master data from third party distributors; create dashboards to track customer sell-through; maintain and coordinate pricing and discounts in ERP system Monitor accounts receivables activities; follow up with sales regarding past-due payments Create sales trend dashboards for region; serve as the technical expert on sales and distribution software Identify opportunities and sell to new prospects, including but not limited to, analyzing new account potential, developing commercial relationships, and follow up on service levels, including but not limited to, accurate deliveries and working with customers to correctly setup items in their system(s) Analyze KPI metrics, including but not limited to pricing, margin, coverage, market share and promotional activity; recommend changes to strategy when objectives are off target Follow up on supply and logistic / distribution processes with both internal and external stakeholders; troubleshoots and resolves product supply issues Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent work experience Two (2) years of trade marketing, account management or related, including experience managing trade spend.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1 year broker or sales analyst role experience Consumer Packaged Goods (Hispanic market experience) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITITES (KSA’s) Knowledge of category management processes and applications Experience using software such as SAP, BW Analyzer and High Jump Familiar with consumption databases such as Nielsen Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong business and financial acumen: business analytics skills, ability to plan, track and evaluate trade management Ability to make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered and analyzed from existing systems and/or imperfect information Ability to understand total business process and procedures Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing Strong analytical and negotiation skills with attention to details Effective troubleshooting skills Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point Proficiency with Data Analysis, Pivot tables, and complex graphs; strong technical report running and analytical abilities Ability to build professional relationships with Hispanic Brands National Accounts and cross functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment Ability to work within a matrix organization

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS

Able to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. COMPENSATION $82,400 - 103K Annual Salary, depending on geography, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations
