POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Insight and Analytics Manager will analyze key performance indicators, develop and manage tools to ensure the proper operation of the business, prepare sales and financial reporting, and serve as the subject matter expert for Sales strategy, insights, and analytics for Company projects. The Sales Insight & Analytics Manager will oversee design, maintenance, and upgrades of data warehouses, dashboards, cubes, and reports.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Propose, test, and validate new business analysis tools; coordinate with IT of new tool deployment and reconfiguration of the sales application; implement and train the sales representatives on new tools to optimize the sales operation. Analyze and evaluate key data and metrics to find opportunities to increase volume and margins in collaboration with internal departments; translate data to actionable items including providing insights and developing strategies to grow sales and improve operational efficiencies; prepare annual budget for National Brands and Foodservice divisions (volume, price, margin, and EBITDA); estimate weekly volume, sales, margin, and expenses by Region. Collaborate with senior leadership from departments to develop and implement strategic plans, using data to drive decision-making and prioritize initiatives. Manage and look for resolutions/solutions to system related challenges regarding operations with the sales application and the sales module on SAP (Master data, orders, prices, customers, BOL, invoicing) Represent the sales team in strategic projects by decision making on behalf of sales team including but not limited to Marketing, Trade Marketing, Budgeting, Expense Management, and Category Development. Develop and launch sales contests, consumer campaigns, and category development efforts for assigned brands. Leads cross-functional business intelligence initiatives for the s. Oversee staff including but not limited to training, evaluation, development, and coaching personnel Other Duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field Three (3) years of related leadership in business intelligence, sales development, or analysis roles

 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA’s)

Proficient in data base programs Strong verbal and written communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish Skills in SAP sales module and mobile devices. Experience designing dashboards in Excel and PowerBI Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data entry Understanding of the total business process and procedures Strong technical, report running and analytical abilities Ability to foster a culture of learning by staying on top of new trends and technologies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.

 

COMPENSATION 
•    Depending on geography, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
•    This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations
