POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides various cost accounting functions and combined operations reporting as directed by the Plant Controller

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Leads efforts in costing of new products or quotes/changes to existing products Fully understands the production process at each location so that any work performed for each specific location is well understood Performs various month-end reporting for VP of Operations and Operations Controller as well as local management Combines efforts with Plant Controller on ensuring an adequate internal control environment is maintained Leads efforts on external audit requests – Organization, plant delegation. Fully understands the integration of all Sigma systems to troubleshoot any system issues Performs regular product recall tracking exercises Leads efforts in costing for joint ventures related to finished product Ensures contract compliance with business partners related to the manufacturing of our finished product Performs tracking of all initiatives for cost savings Assists in Annual Fixed Asset audit Assists plants in annual budgeting on an as needed basis Back Up for other accounting functions Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree Three (3) years of accounting work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Four (4) years of related accounting experience Experience in a manufacturing environment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITITES (KSA’s)  Intermediate/advance knowledge of Excel Proficient knowledge of the MS Office Suite 10 Key Ability to communicate with others in an effective and concise manner Must possess strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines through prioritization of tasks Consistent and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Experience using SAP software programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.

COMPENSATION $67,435-$84,000 annual salary, depending on geography, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations
