Qualifications: Required: + Graduate of an AMA approved Associate s or Bachelor s Degree granting program in Respiratory Care + Registered Respiratory Therapist as determined by the National Board for Respiratory Care + Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey Board of Respiratory Care + BLS - AHA approved required + NJ Respiratory Care License required + Certified Respiratory Therapist Scheduling Requirements: + Day Shift, 16 hours/week + Part Time Schedule Essential Functions: + Perform pulmonary function tests, such as spirometry, lung volumes, and cardiopulmonary exercise tests, according to department and ATS standards + Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment used in pulmonary testing + Calibrate instruments and analyze and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions + Explain testing procedures to patients, educate patients on how to use pulmonary equipment, and monitor patients' diagnostic and therapeutic progress + Communicate with other patient care team members to ensure continuity of care + Maintain equipment and supplies for testing in lab Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
